  • The 1st Annual DISCOVER Day was very successful! - Hosted by the Haverford Science Academy and the HHS Science Department - over 400 kids participated. 
  • American Education Week is November 13-17th.
  • Parents and Educators attended the Parenting with a Growth Mindset on November 14th at Lynnewood Elementary.


  • The Haverford High School Counseling Department is sponsoring a FAFSA Completion Night on Monday, November 20, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
  • The National Honor Society inducted 81 new members on November 13th.
  • The National Business Honor Society inducted 71 new members on November 14th. At the ceremony, they presented a check for $500 for the NHS Hurricane Relief effort.
  • The National French & Spanish Honor Society inducted 50 new members on November 15th.
  • The Band placed 5th with a season-high score of 90.00 for the State Championships at Hershey Stadium!
  • Interact sponsored a food drive to support local families.
  • NBHS is sponsoring a coat drive for needy families.
  • Spirit week is scheduled for November 17th-23rd. 


  • November 21st is the  HMS Wonder Movie Night at Regal Edgmont Movie Theater
  • Student Council sponsored a Food Drive to support local families
  • 7th Heaven will be performing at the Philadelphia Flyers game, Thursday, December 14th at 7 pm at the Wells Fargo Center.
  • HMS is sponsoring their Second Annual CHOP Toy Drive


  • Grace Brown, Elle Rayer and Coopertown Elementary received Proclamations for all of their hard work in raising over $5,000 for Hurricane Relief in Texas.  Haverford Commissioners Andy Lewis and Bill Weschler (Elle's grandfather) presented the awards.
  • Manoa presents Disney’s The Lion King this weekend at HMS.
