As of August 2nd, the CDC reports that Delaware County has moved into a substantial level of community transmission. The CDC now recommends universal indoor masking for all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to K-12 schools, regardless of vaccination status.
We are requiring all teachers, staff, students, and visitors to wear a mask while indoors in any district facility beginning Wednesday, August 4th.
Beginning on August 5th, School Board Meetings will be held in the Haverford High School auditorium until further notice.
As a result of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ARP ESSER), our school district has been allocated grant funds to assess post-pandemic needs and implement activities and interventions which will address them. The funds must be expended by September of 2024.
We are seeking your input regarding services and priorities in order to develop a plan for the use of ARP ESSER funding. We will incorporate the input provided into the development of plans to use this funding. The plan will be presented to the School Board of Directors at an upcoming meeting and will be posted on our website.
Please complete one survey for each child who resides in your home and attends the School District of Haverford Township schools. Thank you for taking the time to provide your input regarding the use of this funding. The survey will close on August 8, 2021.
