All Grade Levels: Be a Librarian

 

1. Select a book of your choice

2. Read to parent, sibling, friend, stuffed animal, or pet 

 

The written activities can be completed on paper or Google Drive, your choice!

 

Kindergarten: 

1. Read a Fiction text of student choice: book, children’s magazines, Epic, other online ebooks, etc. 

2. Draw a picture of your favorite part of the story.

3. Share your picture with someone or something (parent, sibling, friend, stuffed animal, or pet) 

 

First Grade: 

1. Read a Fiction text of student choice: book, children’s magazines, Epic, other online ebooks, etc. 

2. Draw a picture of your favorite character from the story. 

3. Share your picture with someone or something (parent, sibling, friend, stuffed animal, or pet)

 

Second Grade:

1. Read a Fiction text of student choice: book, children’s magazines, Epic, other online ebooks, etc. 

2. Draw a picture of the setting and a character from the story. 

3. Label each one.

4. Share your picture with someone or something (parent, sibling, friend, stuffed animal, or pet)

 

 

Third Grade:

1. Read a Fiction text of student choice: book, children’s magazines, Epic, other online ebooks, etc. 

2. Draw a picture of something that happened at the beginning, middle, and end of your story. 

3. Write a caption to go along with each picture. 

4. Share what you learned with someone or something (parent, sibling, friend, stuffed animal, or pet) 

 

Fourth Grade:

1. Read a Fiction text of student choice: book, children’s magazines, Epic, other online ebooks, etc. 

2. Write a different ending for the story. 

 

Fifth Grade:

1. Read a Fiction text of student choice: book, children’s magazines, Epic, other online ebooks, etc. 

2. Write a different ending for the story.
