Hello! My name is Janette Heil (Heil rhymes with Kyle) and I am looking forward to my tenth year teaching in the School District of Haverford Township. I spent my first eight years teaching at the elementary level and was thrilled to join the faculty at HHS last year. In my years with the district, I have taught 2nd grade, 4th grade, learning support, supplemental English, social skills, and worked as an elementary reading specialist.

I grew up in West Chester, PA and graduated from Elizabethtown College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a concentration in Special Education. In 2015 I completed my Master of Education in Reading at Cabrini College.

My husband, Chris, and I live with our two-year-old daughter, Penny, and our two cats in King of Prussia. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running and working out, knitting, and cheering for the Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles. I also enjoy spending time with my parents and my younger brother, Dan.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.
