Activities:

       An element is to a compound as a letter is to a word.

2.  Go over Friday's assignment and #3.3

3.  Matter Scramble

4. Notes: Matter through "Law of Conservation" 

HW: Read p. 73-75 Take notes, include all bold words. Answer Odds p. 76 # 3.7 - # 3.13 in notebook

Activities:

1.  Question of the Day on Canvas “The ancient elements Earth, Fire, Water, and Air were often present in classical thought. Choose one of the four ancient elements that best describes you and explain why it best describes you”.  

2.  Discuss Hw.

3. Finish notes. p.5-6 in the packet.

HW- Read p. 77-81, write formulas for temperature conversion (see below), and answer questions 3.15-3.20.

Write the formula to determine the temperature in Kelvin, (p.78)
