Objectives: Research information about the Body Farm.  Sketch a Crime Scene. 

Activities:

2.  In Class practice activity sketching, crime scene introduction sketch. 

3.  Virtual: View the Body Farm video and take summary notes every 5-10 minutes.  This will total approximately 9 bullet pionts of information.

 

Tuesday

Activities: 

1.  QOD

2.  In Class rough draft sketch crime scene

3.  Virtual and In-Class during downtime: 

Chemistry of Death Vocabulary.  Define the listed chemistry terms in preparation to discuss the processes involved in death and body composition to determine the time of death. This allows investigators to determine a timeline when solving crimes. 

Chemical Compounds.  Describe the importance of each of the compounds listed throughout body processes.

 

Thursday

Objectives:  Sketch a crime scene.  Sketch a crime scene.  Define terms and describe compounds for the discussion of the chemistry of death.  Label major bones in the human skeletal system.

Activities: 

1.  QOD

Friday

Objectives:  Overview of methods of determining time of death.  Label skeletal bones. Research brain ailments and diseases that can lead to the death of individual.

Activities:

1. QOD (in chat) What causes of death could be determined by looking at the brain during an autopsy.

2.  Skeletal system Labeling (Canvas diagram)

3.  Notes.

4.  Research Brain Diseases and Ailments assignment on Canvas (submission required)
