7th Heaven: Congratulations to Mrs. Langley and 7th Heaven on their 2nd place finish in the B101 Christmas Choir Competition! You made it an exciting 2 days at HMS. Between the choir competition, the Flyers game, and the toy drive for showed us all real H-Pride!

Unlimited Football: Attention Unlimited Football Players! If you ordered a shirt from Coach A or Coach McCunney, please come and pick up your shirt at the end of the day in Room 228.

Activities Night: Come out and bring a few friends for the second Activities Night of the year tonight (Friday) at HMS from 7-8:30 PM. Tickets will be sold at lunch today (Friday) for $5.00 and also at the door tonight. Come out and enjoy some carnival games, dodge ball, basketball, dancing and board games. Hope to see you there!

Theater Tech Crew: Attention all Theater Tech Crew members. Our first meeting will be held today (Friday) after school in the auditorium. The meeting will go until 3:15. Any questions, please contact Mrs. Koltsaklis.

Quiz Bowl: The next round of Quiz Bowl will be today (Friday) after school in Room 152. Which team will reign supreme to join Wise Minds at our December tournament? The standings are close and anything could happen this Friday!

Homework Club: How did your student-led conference go? Today we are halfway through the 2nd marking period! Are you set to finish the second quarter meeting the goals you set for yourself? Was one of those goals to do better at completing assignments on time? Perhaps you set a goal to get organized. No matter what the goal is, we have the perfect club for you. Stop by room 155 or 278 for more information about this exciting opportunity to get you back on track.

CHOP Toy Drive: Bringing your new/unused toys for the CHOP Toy Drive to room 242 or any of the grade-level offices today (Friday), Thank you for your generosity and support! We have collected over 2200 items so far!

Makers Club: Have you been missing the Maker’s Club? Well, don’t be sad anymore, because Maker’s Club is back and will be meeting Tuesday after school in room 13 with Miss Tifft. Hope to see you there!

Reading Olympics Club: Reading Olympics Club will meet next Wednesday. We'll see you then, Olympians!

Create Club: Create Club will meet in the morning next Friday the 13th for our December meeting. Bring any creative projects that you've been working on and we'll share our setbacks and successes.

HMS Reads: Thank you to all the readers that have written reviews for HMS Reads! Our next raffle drawing for $50 to Amazon will take place on Jan. 25, so you still have plenty of time to get those reviews in! In the meantime, monthly prizes have been piling up in our library treasure chest. This months' prize is a rainbow poop sticker. If you need its colorful goodness to cheer up your day, read a book and come claim a poop of your very own!

Chess Club: Any 6th, 7th or 8th-grade student interested in participating in a chess club at HMS should email Mrs. Young at pyoung@haverfordsd.net. If there is enough interest a Chess Club will be started in January 2020 throughout the rest of the school year. Details to follow just email Mrs. Young if you would like to participate in this new club.

H-Pride: The H-PRIDE incentive for the week is free admission into this week's Activities Night. If you would like to redeem this incentive, please write your full name and homeroom teacher’s name on the back of your H-PRIDE card. You will need to drop the card off in the bins located in the library by this Thursday at 2:35.

Found: Did you lose this watch, or a lock, a house or locker key? If so, come to the tech office to reclaim your items. Don't forget to stop by the general lost and found near the elevator on the 2nd floor to look for lost clothing, lunch bags, books, water bottles, and more.
