Early Dismissal: Students will be dismissed at 11:20 today (Friday) for a teacher in-service.
No School: Monday all schools and offices will be closed for the Federal holiday celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The holiday has become a day to follow Dr. King's example of volunteerism or doing a service project to make the world a better place. Don't know what to do? Did you hear about the 104-year-old veteran who wants Valentine's cards? You could spend the day making valentine cards for a nursing home near you for elderly patients with no family to visit them. Doing a little something for others isn't as hard or time consuming as you might think. What are your ideas? Enjoy the long weekend!

Young Minds Change Lives is organizing a fundraiser in support of the World Wildlife Fund. We are selling soft pretzels after school in the connecting corridor for two weeks straight starting on Tuesday, January 21. So come buy some $1.00 dollar pretzels and support the Australian animals!
