Today is an Act 80 Day. Students will be dismissed at 11:20am. Monday is a holiday and there is no school.
If you have not already done so, 6th and 7th graders MUST complete the music scheduling form today (Friday)! The link to the form was sent to your school Gmail.
Hey 8th Graders, we've been announcing this for months, but NOW it's the final week! Have your families and friends take out a special ad in the yearbook just for you! Ads are on sale until Saturday, Feb.16th, so time is up! Tell your family and fans to visit Ms. Ramos's website, where they can find the link to place their order!
Attention all orchestra members in grades 6, 7, and 8…you are reminded that this Tuesday is String Night. Don’t forget to bring your instrument to school. After school on Tuesday, you are to report to the high school auditorium for the String Night combined rehearsal. See Mr. Brennan if you have any questions.
Attention athletes interested in playing a spring sport; There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, February 28th, at 2:45 PM. This is a change of date, note, the meeting is now Thursday, February 28th. Fix the date in your agenda, cell phone, or wherever you put your reminders. Stay tuned for meeting locations.
The next Actor's Workshop meeting is Thursday after school in Mr. Langin's room 152. New members are always welcome.
The Autism Awareness Month Student Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday 2/19 has been rescheduled for Thursday 2/21 until 3:15 in room 104
The boy's locker room will be closed down for the year on Tuesday, Feb 19. All boys must clean out their belongings from the gym lockers after school today (Friday) and Monday. Anything left in the lockers will be sent to the lost and found.
Don't forget to drop off any old dried up markers in the bins in the offices for recycling at Crayola!
The H-PRIDE incentive for the week is a chance to win a 2018-2019 Haverford Middle School Yearbook. There will be five names drawn for each grade level. If you would like to use your H-PRIDE card for this week's incentive, you must put your name and homeroom on the back of your card then place your card in your grade level H-PRIDE bin located in the cafeteria. You must have your card in the bin by the end of your lunch period on Friday. Winners will be notified in homeroom next week. Please note: not everyone who enters will win a yearbook. If you do not win, your name will automatically be entered into all future drawings. If you've lost your house key please come check the tech office. We have a collection, including this one which was turned in on Wednesday.
