April is Autism Awareness Month. Did you know... There is currently no cure for Autism but people with Autism can be just as happy, if not happier than those without it.

Spring Break starts at the close of school! School will resume next Tuesday, April 23rd. Have a great break and get lots of sleep so you come back ready to take the PSSAs!

One more public service announcement for spring break... clean some of the junk out of your locker before you leave. No one wants to come back to moldy food!

Aloha HMS! A cool island breeze is heading our way on Friday, May 3rd. Be a volunteer at the Senior Citizen Social and have fun with your friends and some of the coolest people in Havertown! Sixth-grade students should sign-up outside of Ms. Harris's room, 238, and seventh and eighth-grade sign-up outside of Mrs. McGlone's room, 151.

After a month of submitting votes we finally have it! Who is the most popular pooch at HMS? Why it's none other than the sunglass-wearing Gus! Gus is a 3-year-old black lab owned by 6th-grader, Norah Bates! Congratulations Gus and Norah! Come by the library to claim your prize! To everyone at HMS, thanks for playing!

Homework club will be canceled today (Tuesday). Have a great break!

8th-grade math club will not be held today (Tuesday). Enjoy your spring break!

All band and orchestra students should take their instruments home at the end of school today (Tuesday).

Percussion Ensemble will meet after school today (Tuesday).
