Welcome to 8th grade! I am so excited to be a part of the Haverford Middle School community. I come to the 8th Grade Assistant Principal role after 19 years in the Methacton School District, where I served as a middle school math teacher, math specialist, and instructional coach. With most of my career spent in middle school, I proudly count myself among those who see the magic in middle schoolers, especially 8th graders, and deeply believe in their promise and potential.

I hold my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University and a master’s degree from Gratz College. In 2022, I earned a doctoral degree from Gwynedd Mercy University, focusing my research on math anxiety during the transition from elementary to middle school. 

As a parent of two middle school-aged daughters, I bring both professional and personal insights to this role. I am thrilled to join Haverford Middle School, where I’ve been warmly welcomed by the Ford community, and I am fully committed to supporting 8th-grade students and teachers.
