7th Grade Assistant Principal
Dear Class of 2025,
Welcome to 7th grade! It is an honor to introduce myself as the new assistant principal of Haverford Middle School. I am excited to work in a district with such a rich tradition of excellence. Additionally, I am eager to work closely with the students and families of the community.
My journey to the field of education began after graduating from Ursinus College with a bachelor’s degree in history. Following a few years of service in social work, I attended La Salle University where I received a certification in special education and master’s degree in education. Prior to becoming an administrator, I spent several years as a special education teacher in the Philadelphia and Perkiomen Valley school districts. Most recently, I taught emotional support and biology in the Bensalem Township School District for the past four years. While serving many years as a classroom teacher and special education case manager, I earned my principal certification through Arcadia University.
I am beyond thrilled to join the stellar administrative team at HMS. It is my personal goal to building strong, everlasting relationships with students and staff. I wholeheartedly believe that children live up to or down to expectations and it is my personal mission to inspire all students to exceed high expectations. Through an unyielding commitment to student growth and ardent community collaboration, I look forward to helping the seventh graders broaden their horizons.
