7th Grade Boys' Soccer
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Boys Soccer Team on a great season. The team defeated Bala Cynwyd in the final game 3 - 2. Ethan Horowitz scored a goal in the first few minutes of the game. Max Comstock followed scoring another goal later in the first half. Bala Cynwyd battled back to tie the game in the second half. With thirty seconds left in the game, Adam Porreca scored the game winning goal with an assist from Ethan Horowitz. Charley Cras, Jacob An, and Jacob Kantawala had great saves in goal. Jack Lacey, Blake Riley, Austin McConnell, Ben Bush, Micah Lozano, and Braeden Wherry played provided a strong attack as strikers and midfielders.. Nick Malosh, Owen Tighe, David Meloni, Griffin Pushkar, Johnny Sokollu, Owen Paport, and Joseph Chung were superb as defensive backs. Grant Zborowski did not play due to injury but provided support on the sideline. The 7th Grade Boys Soccer Team ended the season with 12 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie.

8th Grade Field Hockey
The 8th grade Field Hockey team ended the season with a solid win of 1-0 verse Bala Cynwyd. The goal was scored by Annabelle with an assist by Megan K. All girls showed amazing hustle and tremendous teamwork! Great job and awesome season 8th grade!

7th Grade Field Hockey
What great season filled with talent and fun! The 7th grade field hockey team ended their season with a win over Bala Cynwyd. Natalie W. had two goals and Lauren C. scored for a 3-0 win!

It's was another great win by the 7th grade field hockey team. The Lady Fords beat Radnor 2-0. Goals were scored by Natalie W. and Brooke P. Avery G. played an amazing game and Dianna, our goalie, had some great saves! Good luck to the 7th and 8th grade field hockey teams as they travel to Bala Cynwd for their last game of the season! 7th Grade Girls' Soccer
The 7th-grade girls' Soccer Team had an outstanding victory over Paxon Hollow Middle School. Goals were scored by Brooklyn Cannon, Lindsay Marshall, and Dylan Mckeown with assists by Abby DeFruscio and Annie Boyle. The Ford's defense of Ava Malosh, Gracie Donadio, Maya Schmitt, Olivia Carter, and Rian Dotsey held the Paxon Tigers to a shut out for a final 4-0 win. Great work Fords!

Cross Country Team
Congratulations to the boys' and girls' Cross Country Teams on their wins at the HMS Invitational. Medal winners for Haverford were 6th graders Kayla Elliott, Ryan Dankanis, Sean Lawson, Demetrie Meyers, Kieran Gillespie, and Bobby Meanear. Medal winners in 7th grade were Olivia Cieslak, Grace Brown, Camryn McGeehan, and Logan Eagles. Eighth-grade medal winners were Mackenzie Gillespie and Daniel Meyers. Congratulations to all members of the HMS cross country team on working hard and finishing the season undefeated. We are proud of your hard work and H-Pride!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
Congrats to the 115 Football team on their 26-7 victory over Welsh Valley!

The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team defeated Paxon Hollow MS 4 - 3. Adam Porreca scored 2 goals off corner kicks by David Meloni. Austin McConnell scored 1 goal with an assist by Owen Paport. Ethan Horowitz also scored 1 goal. Another great team effort for the win.

8th Grade Field Hockey
The lady fords 8th-grade field hockey team forged through with a win against Springton Lake Middle School with a score of 2-0. Carly M. sent a fierce drive into the circle with a shot and goal by Meghan K. The second goal of the game came minutes later with an assist by Izzy L. and goal by Sarah H. Alex D. made some fierce stops in the goal to shut out Springton. Great teamwork was shown by all!

7th Grade Field Hockey
The 7th-grade field hockey team defeated Springton Lake Middle School 3-0. Goals were scored by Brooke P., Claire S., and Ella Q. Teamwork is the key to their success.

7th Grade Volleyball
The 7th-grade Volleyball Team traveled to Marple Newtown High school to play Paxon Hollow Middle. school and play they did. They walked away with a 2-1 victory. 

Unlimited Football
The HMS Unlimited Football Team was in a full-on battle yesterday. Despite the 13 to 12 loss, the Fords played an incredible game on both sides of the ball. Tristyn Ruggerie had 2 touchdowns and accumulating over 100 yards. Huge defensive plays including interceptions by AJ Koukov and Dustin Galvin.

Volleyball
The 7th-grade volleyball team took care of the Radnor Raiders Friday in front of a sold-out crowd at the Haverford High School gymnasium. The girls shut down a very good team and came away with the victory 2-0. Their next opponent is Paxon Hollow Middle school today. Good luck girls!

7th Grade Field Hockey
If you missed the 7th grade Field Hockey Team game, you missed a nail biter!! Claire S. had an unbelievable goal which was perfectly assisted by Caroline C. The assist happened with 5 seconds left in the game. Once the Lady Fords scored, the crowd went wild! They tied the game 1-1 which keeps the Lady Fords undefeated!! Each and every athlete gave 100%. They encouraged each other, supported each other and displayed H-PRIDE! Way to go 7th grade!!!

8th Grade Field Hockey
The 8th grade Field Hockey team left it all on the field on Thursday with their tie against Springfield Middle School. A strong offensive performance was displayed by Megan K, Carly M, and twin duo CeCe and Izzy L. The entire team stepped up to the plate defensively with outstanding efforts shown by Annabelle K, Kacey R and Mia F. The Lady Fords played strong right to the last second! Great game!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team played a hard-fought game against Radnor Middle School and came away with a victory 2 - 1. Jack Lacey and Blake Riley each scored a goal for the win.

8th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 8th-grade boys' Soccer Team defeated the raiders of Radnor by a score of 4-2. Goals scored by Alexson S, Nicky D, and Owen M. And a shut down a defensive effort by Jack S and Chris V.

8th Grade Girls Soccer
The 8th Grade girls' Soccer Team played an excellent game against Radnor Middle School winning 3 to 2. Goals were scored by Tess, Tess, and Chloe, with great assists by Brenna, and fantastic goal keeping by Phia. Go Fords!

Cross Country
The boys' and girls' Cross Country Teams kept their undefeated season alive by placing first for the fourth week in a row in their meet. Top finishers in the girls' race were Olivia Cieslak, who placed first out of 202 runners. Camryn McGeehan, Grace Brown, Kayla Elliott, and McKenzie Gillespie rounded out the scoring for HMS. In the boys' race, top finishers were Sean Lawson who crossed the line first out of 276 runners, followed by Daniel Meyers, Demetrie Meyers, Cole Lisowski, and Kieran Gillespie. Congratulations to all of the HMS runners who showed grit and determination! Come out and support the 150 HMS runners at the last meet of the season on Tuesday, October 29th at Rose Tree Park. The girls will run at 4:00 followed by the boys at 4:30. If you can get over to Rose Tree Park after school you will be treated to an afternoon of great competition and H-Pride!

7th grade Field Hockey
The 7th-grade field hockey had some stellar performances yesterday in their game against Northly. The Lady Fords won 5-0 and goals were scored by Ella Q., Lauren C., Natalie W., Avery G., and Julie B. Coolie!!!!! The key is teamwork!! Way to go!!

7th-grade boys' Soccer
The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team suffered their first loss to Springton Lake 4 - 2. Goals were scored by Will Hasbrouck and David Meloni.

115lb Football Team
The HMS 115's Football team defeated Beverly Hills by a score of 21-13. Congrats to the 115's!

7th Grade Girls' Soccer
The 7th-grade girls' soccer played a hard-fought scrimmage against Valley Forge Middle School. Goals were scored by Brooklyn, Gabriella, Gracie, and Rian. An amazing performance was played by all.

8th Grade Field Hockey
The 8th-grade lady Fords played a spectacular field hockey game versus Ridley with a 1-0 victory. The single goal was scored by Sarah Hubley with a smashing assist by Erin Coyle. Amazing defense, teamwork, and perseverance were shown by all! Great work fords! 

8th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 8th-grade boys' soccer team eeked out a W in a controversial matchup against Northly Middle School. The Fords jumped out to an early 2-0 lead thanks to goals by Nicky DiDonato and Alex Roth. But they soon found themselves in a dog fight. Luckily the Fords had defensive experts Cooper Kneese and George Voulgaridis to seal the 2-1 victory. When Coach Knapp was asked about the intensity of the game, he simply stated “No comment”.

7th-Grade Field Hockey
The 2nd half of the 7th-grade field hockey game against Ridley was awesome! Natalie W. had two assists to Lauren C. and Anna H. Goalie Dianna S. made amazing saves while Kylie C. and Ella Q. made great plays to help the Fords beat Ridley 2-0. 

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team defeated Northly MS 5 -3. Jack Lacey scored 2 goals along with Micah Lozano, Owen Tighe, and Nick Malosh scoring 1 goal each. Great team effort for the win.

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team defeated Welsh Valley MS 2 - 0. Great goalie play during the second half by Charlie Cras who stopped several shots on goal. Joseph Chung and Jacob An scored the only 2 goals of the game accompanied by an assist from Austin McConnell.

7th Grade Girls' Soccer
The 7th-grade girls' soccer team is on a winning streak! The team started with a victory over Welsh Valley with a score of 5 to 3 and pulled off a close victory against Northly Middle School with a score of 2 to 1. Goals in these games were scored by Lindsay, Gabriella, Brooklyn, Rian, and Annie W. Go Fords!

Cross Country
The boys' and girls' Cross Country teams kept their undefeated streak alive this week two wins on Tuesday at Springton Lake.
Top finishers for the boys were Sean Lawson, Demetrie Meyers, Logan Eagles, Cole Lisowski, and Kieran Gillespie.
Top finishers in the girls' race were Olivia Cieslak, Camryn McGeehan, Grace Brown, McKenzie Gillespie,) and Kayla Elliott.
Congratulations to all of the runners who put forth great effort and showed good sportsmanship. Keep up the great work and make us H-Proud!

Volleyball
The 7th and 8th Grade Lady Volleyball teams defeated Drexel Hill middle school winning 4 of the 4 games played. Gwen Richardson helped score half of the eighth grade team's points with her ability to serve the ball consistently. Grace Cassadei, Meghan Kelly and Grace Kenworthy provided many great passes to help the 7th Grade team in their victory. The team had two things on their mind this week: school work and Drexel Hill Middle school. They remained laser focused and took care of both. The 7th and 8th grade team had dominating performances beating Drexel Hill 2-0 each. Great total team effort ladies!

The 7th grade girls' soccer team had an amazing 6-0 win over Drexel Hill Middle School. Goals were scored by Brooklyn Cannon, Gabriella Campbell, Lindsay Marshall, Rian Dotsey, and Alexa Kupperman with an outstanding performance by the Ford's defense!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team defeated Drexel Hill MS 6 - 0. Great goalie play by Max Comstock and Jacob Kantawala to allow zero goals. Jacob An, Griffin Pushkar, Jack Lacey, Max Hiatt, Ethan Horowitz, and Nick Malosh all scored a goal.

8th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 8th grade boys' soccer team took on the the Falcons of Drexel Hill. The Fords were able to snap their three game losing streak with the help of Alex Roth’s two goals and Nicky DiDonato serving up a dime to Eddie Yoshioka. Gavin Brennan and Jared Johnson kept the opposing offense at bay, making light work for a shut out effort by the goal keepers. Leading to a 3-0 Victory.

8th Grade Girls' Soccer
The 8th grade girls' soccer team played a fantastic game against Drexel Hill winning 3 to 0. Goals were scored by Brenna, Tess, and Tessa with solid defense by Hilary and Maddie C. Next up Welsh Valley at the Manoa Elementary field this Friday, so come out support the ladies! Go Fords!

Cross Country

Congratulations to the HMS cross country teams on two more victories at their second meet of the season. The girls were lead by Olivia Cieslak who finished first followed by Camryn McGeehan, McKenzie Gillespie, Kayla Elliott, and Jill Donahue. The boys were paced by Demetrie Meyers, Sean Lawson, and Daniel Meyers who finished 2nd, 3rd, and 4th in the race and Logan Eagles, and Cole Lisowski. Congratulations to all of the 150 HMS runners who worked hard and gave their best effort in the races. H-Pride!

Unlimited Football
The Unlimited Football Team defeated Strathaven in yesterday's game with a score of 19-18. Christian Cerelli had 2 touchdowns and Tristyn Ruggeiri had 1 touchdown as well as running in 2 extra points. The defense had an outstanding game with 3 forced fumbles, and 4 sacks. Go Fords!

7th Grade Field Hockey
Teamwork! The 7th-grade field hockey team won 3-0 against Strath Haven. Each and every athlete contributed to the win! Goals were scored by Caroline C., Lauren C. and Claire S. Ella Q. provided 2 of the assists and strong defensive performances were shown by Grace O., Quinn C., Booke P., and Natalie W. Way to go, girls!

The 7th and 8th grade Girls volleyball teams traveled to Beverly Hills Middle School and defeated a very persistent team of girls. The Haverford girls played well on offensive and defense. Way to go girls.

The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team fought a tough battle against Valley Forge and finished with a win 3 - 2. Adam Porreca, Jack Lacey, and Braeden Wherry each scored a goal.

The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team defeated Strath Haven 6 - 0. Great defensive effort by the whole team for the shut out. Ethan Horowitz, Grant Zborowski, Blake Riley, Max Hiatt, and Will Hasbrouck all scored goals for the team.

Cross Country
Congratulations to the boys' and girls' cross country team on two impressive wins at the first meet of the season. 7th grader Olivia Ceislak won the girls' race followed by teammates Camryn McGeehan,  Mckenzie Gillespie, Grace Brown, and Eliana Chapman. Top finishers in the boys' race were Daniel Meyers who finished second out of 303 runners, Sean Lawson, Demetrie Meyers, Logan Eagles, and Cole Lisowski. Congratulations to all of the HMS runners who gave their best and ran hard. Thanks for showing your H-Pride!

Goal was score by Claire S. and an outstanding performance was played by Natalie W, Brooke P and Julianna A. Our goalie, Dianna S., did a awesome job communicating and defending our goal. Every athlete contributed to an outstanding win!

The 8th grade field hockey team was strong and dominant with their 2-0 win over Beverly Hills Middle School. Erin Coyle scored the first goal with an awesome assist by Reese Wagner. The second goal was scored by Maddie Flood. The girls played hard with many shots on goal and did not back down while displaying tremendous teamwork! Great way to start off the season ladies!

7th Grade Field Hockey
Congratulations to the 7th grade Field Hockey Team on a 3-0 win over Beverly Hills Middle School. Goals were scored by Anna H., Claire S., and Julianna A. A total team effort was given by all the Lady Fords!

8th Grade Boys' Soccer:
The 8th-grade boys' soccer team faced off against a Beverly Hills team hungry for their first win. Fortunately, Coach Knapp came prepared with an army of goal scorers. Alexson Songer, Owen Mulhern, Nicky Didianto, Stefan Rompre, and Luke Winter all managed their way into the goal column. Jack Scholtz and Cameron Fausto hung up a steel curtain in front of the net in a shutout effort. And defensemen Jared Johnson and Jake Volpe kept the opposing offense in a blender to help the Fords towards a 6-0 triumph.

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th Grade Boys' Soccer Team defeated Beverly Hills 8 -0. The defense shut down the attack with the help of Goalies Charley Cras and Jacob Kantawala. Max Comstock, Adam Porreca, Max Hiatt, Owen Tighe, Jacob An, Blake Riley, and Will Hasbrouck all scored goals.

Girls' Volleyball
What an exciting game the girls Volleyball team put on against Ridley. Even though the teams lost, the sold-out crowd was not disappointed. Looks like this will be the hot ticket this year. Nice game girls

Girls' Soccer
The 7th and 8th grade girls soccer team joined together to play Beverly Hills Middle school. HMS came out on top with a 4-0 win. Go fords!

8th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 8th grade boys soccer team got off to a hot start yesterday with a 4-2 victory against T.E Middle School. Coach Knapp courageously led his men on to Hooper field, where he was able to lead Tyler Cohen, Jack Shagane, and Alexson Songer to find the back of the net. Along with shut down goaltending by Harrison McClement and Cameron Fusto and suffocating defensive performance by Gavin Brennan and Chris Quire. The Fords look to continue their winning ways this afternoon against Beverly Hill.
