7th Grade Girls' Basketball
 

The 7th Grade Lady Fords finished the season with a 36-31 win over Radnor. A. Maloney led scoring with 9 points and M. Culbertson and A. Eberhart each chipped in with 8. Great team win!

It was a big win for the 8th grade boys' ballers! Sharp shooting and outstanding on the boards for our undersized team was the key to beating a very physical Ridley team. Googie and KG kept the Fords calm and Tommy W. hit the game winner- great W, Fords!!

The 8th grade girls' basketball team beat Ridley by 6 in a hard fought game! Julia Richardson went 8 for 8 at the foul line to seal the game.

The 7th Grade Girls' basketball team lost a tough battle to Ridley with a final score of 21-17. Aniya Eberhart led the way with 6 points. Tessa Wiedeman chipped in with 5 points.

The 8th grade boys' bball team was down by 20 points with just 10 minutes to go but showing great dignity literally clawed and scratched their way back. But, time ran out, and the boys lost by 4.

The 7th Grade Lady Fords handed Garnet Valley their first loss of the season with a score of 22-11. Aniya Eberhart led the way with 10 points. M. Rivera and Khue Nguyen each had 4. Great team win!

8th Grade Girls' Basketball

The 8th grade girls' basketball team beat Valley Forge yesterday. Aubrey Leneweaver lead all scorers with 11 points, but let's not forget K Wert hitting NBA range threes.

The 7th grade Lady Fords defeated Springfield with a score of 22-21. Aniya Eberhart led the team with 8 points. The Fords take on Valley Forge middle school today (Wednesday) at 4:30. Let’s pack the gym!

8th Grade Boys' Basketball

In their 1st game of the season against E. T. Richardson, the 8th-grade boys' basketball team deployed a strong 2nd half defense & timely baskets by Tommy Wright and Alex Seidman. Kevin Gannon broke open a close game as the boys won 44 to 33.

Volleyball

The 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams ended their season with another notch in the win column against visiting Paxon Hollow Middle School. Mrs. Luckshire gave a "Vince Lombardi" inspired talk and the girls did the rest in two games.
The 7th grade team was so inspired, that they won out in three.
One word sums up this season and it is WOW.

Cross-Country

Congratulations to the girls' cross country team on winning the HMS cross country invitational Tuesday afternoon and for finishing the season undefeated for the second year in a row! Top finishers and medal winners for the Fords were Olivia Cieslak, Lily Walker, Katya Eruslanova, Camryn McGeehan, Grace Brown, and Frannie Milius.

The HMS boys team finished third out of 15 teams. Top scorers for Haverford were Patrick Lawson, Finn Dougherty, Cole Lisowski, Alex DiMatteo, and Gabe Zwilling.

A huge shout out from Coach Brock and Coach Young to all 120 of the HMS cross country runners on a great season.

7th Grade Boys' Soccer

The 7th grade boys soccer team won against Northley Middle School on Monday and suffered their second loss of the whole season on Tuesday against Springton Lake.

8th Grade Field Hockey

Congratulations to the 8th grade field hockey team on their shut-out win against Northley Middle School. The final score was 5-0. Caity G led the team with 2 goals. Av-ay, Jules M, and Zoe M each scored one goal. 

Unlimited Football

The unlimited football team picked up another win against Welsh Valley, 24-16. All three touchdowns were scored by A.J. K., which was made possible by the great play of the offensive line. Tristyn R. recorded an interception as the Fords rolled to their second straight victory.

Volleyball

The 7th and 8th grade Volleyball teams traveled to Radnor  and, you guessed it, the Lady Fords took care of the Raiders in 2 games each. The Lady Fords were on such fire that they had to STOP, DROP, AND ROLL several times during the matches. Way to go Ladies.

7th Grade Field Hockey

The 7th grade field hockey team finished out their season with a 1-0 win over Springton Lake Middle School. The entire team put forth effort and determination to fight off Springton Lake's offense. Jessica C. scored for the Fords on a perfect set up as she placed the ball perfectly from the post. 

The team finished the season 6 and 2. What an unbelievable season for all the 7th grade field hockey athletes. Great season girls! Way to go Fords!!!

8th Grade Field Hockey

Congratulations to our 8th grade field hockey team on winning their game this past Friday with a score of 8-0, against Drexel Hill Middle School. They also dominated their game with a score of 3-0, against Springton Lake. Goal scorers in the game were Caity G, Sophia V, and Charlie S. 

7th Grade Girls' Soccer

The 7th grade girls' soccer team has had three amazing wins in the past week! First, they won against Paxon Hollow, 6 to 0. Tess, Miriam and Tessa scored goals, while Bryanna and Hilary provided excellent defense. Next, the girls won against Drexel Hill 4 to 0, with Tess, Tessa, Maddie c, and Miriam scoring. On Monday, the girls won again against Northly, 6 to 2. Goals were made by Tess, Maddie C. and Brenna and Caitlin each scored twice! Excellent defense by Delaney!

8th Grade Boys' Soccer

This week the 8th grade boys' soccer team continued their winning ways by defeating Paxon Hollow on Tuesday and Beverly Hills on Wednesday. Goals were scored by Sean Boyle, Matt Strohecker, Tanner Fisher, Robert Priestly, and Okafor Norkeh. Finn McPoyle and Charlie Metz had outstanding goalie performances. With these wins, the Fords improve their record to 7-1 on the season.

8th Grade Field Hockey

Congratulations to the 8th grade field hockey team on a nail biting win over Strath Haven Middle School. The lady fords started strong with three goals in the first 10 minutes of the game. Goals were scored by Rebecca A, Av-ay J, and Sophia V. The Fords defense, Zoe P, Jayden, Morgan, Mackenzie and Riley, had an incredible game in the 3-2 win. Goalie, Maeve Gilroy had 4 saves to hold off the Strath Haven offense. Our next game is home on Friday after school! Go Fords!

Unlimited Football

The unlimited football team won a tough defensive battle against visiting Northley, 7-0. A.J. Kouou scored on a long run on the first play of the game. The defense as a whole played inspired football, led by Tommy Touhill, Tristyn Ruggieri, and James Denman. Way to go Fords!!

7th Grade Field Hockey

The 7th grade field hockey team beat Strath Haven 2-0. Sarah H and Mckenzie G set up a fast break to Caitlyn Mc. who scored for the Fords. Meghan K, Reese W, Annabelle K, Mia F and Kasey R played tough "D". Alex D, our goalie, refused to give up a goal and helped contribute to another shut out for the Fords!

Volleyball

With the spirit of SOCKtober still fresh in their hearts the 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams travelled to Drexel Hill Middle school and defeated the Falcons. Good setting, serving, defense, and a couple of loose ceiling tiles all added up to a great win for the girls. Way to go. Come support the girls on Friday at the High School for their game against Northly

The 7th grade boys' soccer team had an awesome come back win against Paxton Hollow. After being down 1-0 after the first half, the boys pulled through and won the game 5-2. Goals were scored by Alexon Songer, James Laniak, Ryan Sweeney, Justin Baylis and Jack Shagena and assists by Stefan Rompre.

Congratulations to the HMS 8th grade field hockey team on their 6-0 win over Ridley Middle School! Av-ay J. led the Lady Fords by scoring FOUR goals! Charlie S. and Jules M both scored one goal to seal the deal on the big win.

7th Grade Field Hockey
If you missed the 7th grade field hockey game, you missed a nail biter! The 7th grade defense consisting of Kacy, Reese, Nicole and Abby stopped Ridely dead in their tracks with seconds left from scoring off a corner. Kasey flew out on defense to quickly get a stick on the ball which helped Alex make unbelievable stops in goal. Fords goals were scored by Sarah and Anabelle. All of the players contributed to a well fought victory and beat Ridley 2-1. Great game, Fords!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th grade boys' soccer team won their game against Ridley, 7-0. Alexon Songer scored 4 goals, as well as Carsten Stahl, Owen Mulhurn and Luke Winters. Assists were made by Tyler Cohen, Nicky DiDonato, Perry Chang, and Justin Baylis. Great job boys!

Girls' Cross-Country
Congratulations to the girls' cross-country team on another victory at their meet. Haverford beat 10 other teams to remain undefeated on the year. Top finishers for HMS were Olivia Cieslak, Lily Walker, Camryn McGeehan, Katya Eruslanova and Grace Brown. 

Boys' Cross-Country
The boys' cross-country team finished third out of ten teams. Pacing the Fords were Patrick Lawson, Cole Lisowski, Alex DiMatteo, Finn Dougherty, and Micah Lozano. Great effort, teamwork, and sportsmanship were shown by the Fords at the meet. H-Pride!

7th Grade Field Hockey
The 7th grade field hockey team played a great game against Bala Cynwyd. The final score was 3-0 and goals were scored by Sarah, Mckenzie and Meghan. Lauren was able to switch the fields and have two assists. Avery and Carly played strong defense and all the players worked well as a team to get the victory!

Football
The Football team lost a battle against Garnett Valley. DeVitis caught a 60 yard touchdown from Flemming and Neely ran hard for the Fords other touchdown!

8th Grade Field Hockey
Congratulations to the 8th grade field hockey team on their 8-0 win over Bala Cynwyd! Ava J. had 2 goals in the shutout win. Alyssa S, Morgan E, Sophia V, Charlie C, Caity G, and Rebecca A all had 1 goal each! Our next game is Friday on the turf against Ridley!

7th Grade Girls' Soccer
The 7th grade girls' soccer team played an exciting, and tight game against Garnett Valley that ended up in a 3 -3 tie. Goals were made by Miriam, Caitlin, and Chloe with an excellent assist by caitlin, while Maddy G made an excellent save on defense! Go Fords!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th grade boys' soccer team beat Garnet Valley, 2-1. Goals were scored by Alexon Songer and Perry Change with an assist by Ryan Sweeney. The team really pulled together for this win. Great job gentlemen!

7th and 8th Grade Volleyball
The 7th and 8th grade Volleyball teams notched another victory this time against visiting Beverly Hills Middle School. Strong offense and defense led the way for both teams. Way to go on back to back victories. Keep up the great work ladies.

Alex Duff played an excellent game in goal for the 7th grade field hockey team. Defense worked hard. Great effort by Mia Fallon and Abby Schmucker. The team played with heart. Tough lost but looking forward to our match against Garnet Valley on Friday.

7th Grade Volleyball
The 7th grade Volleyball team celebrated their first match win against the visiting TE Middle School yesterday. A great game was had by all. Way to go girls

8th Grade Field Hockey
The 8th grade field hockey team put up a good fight against TE Middle School in their 4-2 loss. TE came out strong with a goal in the first few minutes but the Lady Fords answered back. Alyssa S made an incredible pass to Ave J who scored the Fords first goal of the game! During the second half, our amazing shot blocking goalie, Izzy C, made 3 stops to keep the Lady Fords chances alive. Victoria M had an unbelievable, cheetah-like, fast break down the field to score the Fords 2nd goal of the game! The Lady Fords defense, led by Morgan E, was on fire! Zoe P, Maeve, Mackenzie, Jayden, and Riley made it extremely challenging for the T.E. offense to score! The Lady Fords next game is on Friday, on the turf after school against local rival, Garnet Valley!

The 7th grade girls soccer team won against Beverly Hills middle school, 2 to 0. Caroline and Natalie both made goals while Phia and Delaneygave fantastic defensive protection!

7th Grade Field Hockey
7th grade field hockey played an unbelievable game. The Fords won 6-0 against Beverly Hills Middle School. Goals were scored by Megan Kent, Lauren Bullick, Anabella Knese and a hat trick was scored by Mackenzie Gillespie. A total team effort and true sportmanship was shown by all.

7th Grade Girls' Soccer
The 7th grade girls' soccer team won against Trediffryn, 2 to 0! Points were scored by Tessa, and Tess with an assist by Brenna. Fantastic field coverage by Miriam! Go Fords!

8th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 8th grade boys' soccer team is off to a scorching hot 3-0 start to their season. Outscoring thier opponents 11-2 with goals by Marco Natali-Rube, Stephan Bilc, Oakafor Norkeh, Aiden McBearty, Matt Strohecker, and Sean Boyle. Next level goaltending by Finnagan McPoyle. And most importantly, the efforts of Coach Knapp with his superior strategies, calmness under pressure and his natural winning aura. Way to go Coach Knapp, keep up the hard work!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th grade boys soccer team suffered a tough loss against TE Middle School, 3-2. The 2 goals were scored by Alexon Songer.

Cross Country

Congratulations to the girls' cross country team on finishing first out of 9 teams at Monday's meet. Olivia Cieslak finished first followed by Lily Walker in second place and Katya Eruslanova in third out of 201 runners. The boys team finished fourth out of ten teams. Top runners for Haverford were Patrick Lawson in second place followed by Alex DiMatteo in 12th and Cole Lisowski in 19th place. Great effort and sportsmanship were shown by all of the athletes. H-Pride!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th grade Boys' Soccer Team won against Valley Forge Middle School 4-1. Goals were scored by Ryan Sweeney, Eddie Yoshioka, Alexon Songer, and Owen Mulhurn. Assists by Nicky DiDonato and Ian Schiffer. Fantastic goal tending by Jack Scholtz and Cameron Fusto.

7th grade field hockey team played an unbelievable game to open up the first game of the season! The Fords won 1-0 against Springfield. The lone goal was scored by Mackenzie Gillespie and defense stopped a number of shots on goal. Sarah Hubley, Meghan Kent and Reese Wagner played an aggressive game and the entire team showed true Haverford sportsmanship! Way to go!

The 7th grade girls' soccer team played an amazing first game of the season and won 7-3 against ET Richardson. Goals were scored by Tessa, Tess, Maddie C, Miriam, and Brenna. Outstanding defense by Mady G and Chloe. Go fords!

7th Grade Boys' Soccer
The 7th grade boys' soccer team won against ET Richardson, 9-0. Goals were scored by Tyler Cohen, James Laniak, Jack Shagena, Cooper Knese, Justin Baylis and a hat trick by Nicky DiDonato. Assists were made by Perry Chang, Ryan Sweeney and Alexon Songor. Great efforts gentlemen.

Congratulations the the 8th grade field hockey team on their 2-0 win over Paxon Hollow! The lady Fords maintained possession of the ball for a majority of the game. They were able to solidify their win over Paxon with one goal in the first half and one goal in the second half.
