Haverford Middle School Theater Opportunities:
|Theater Company||Actor's Workshop||Musical Theater Club||Tech Crew|
HMSTC has been a springboard for many of students here at HMS, intriguing interests and leading them toward experiences that last a lifetime. Students take on many theatrical roles as actors, dancers, singers, stage crew, tech crew, and production staff, as it takes many hands and many talents to create a quality theatrical production.
HMS Actor's Workshop:
The HMS Actor's Workshop is Haverford's answer to Who's Line Is It Anyway? the popular TV show featuring improvisational acts and comical, non-scripted situations. The Actor's Workshop allows students to explore different characters, think on their feet, and learn the skills associated with theatrical improvisation. In the fall and winter the group functions as a club. In the spring, a select group rehearses for a June production.

Musical Theater Club
Musical Theater Club is an audition prep club where students will learn what is expected from them at auditions. We will be singing, dancing, and having fun! This club is meant for anyone who loves all things musical theater and who hopes to pursue theater at the middle school, or just wants to improve their dancing and acting skills.
