Trip Meals and Food

Students are responsible for providing their own food.  Please follow the school district's approved foods list for any snacks that are packed for the trip.

Lunch
HMS will NOT serve lunch on the day of the trip and the cafeteria will be CLOSED.  Students should bring a packed lunch to eat in the Gymnasium (GYM A/B) during our pre-trip meeting prior to departure.

Snacks
Light snacks for the bus will be permitted.  Students will be responsible for cleaning up after themselves.

Dinner
Big Boulder has a cafeteria where students can purchase food and drinks for dinner. The cafeteria also allows for carry-in food should a student choose to pack his or her own meal.  Ski Lodge cafeteria prices are often expensive.  Please plan accordingly.

Notes
We will be skiing for several hours in the cold. Consider food and snacks that are high in energy production and will allow the student to enjoy their time on the mountain.

If a student has a food allergy, please email a reminder to the school nurse so we can inform the chaperones and take precautions.
