Local Scholarships and Awards

Each year, over 20 academic scholarships and awards provided by local organizations, alumni groups, and community members are awarded to Haverford High School seniors. 

The application for these local HHS Scholarships and Awards will be available from Monday, March 3rd until Monday, March 24th, at 9:30am.  At 9:30am on March 24th, the application will close and no further submissions will be accepted.

These awards will be presented on Thursday, June 5th, 2025, at the Senior Awards Night held at Haverford High School.

Please follow the instructions below for completing the HHS Local Scholarships and Awards Application.

  1. Review the Local Scholarships and Awards criteria.
  2. Print the Local Scholarships and Awards criteria for your reference when completing the Local Scholarships and Awards online application.
  3. Click on the link for Local Scholarships and Awards Application.
  4. Complete the Local Scholarships and Awards Application.
  5. Print a copy of your Local Scholarships and Awards Application for your records before clicking submit.
  6. Click the submit button to officially submit your Local Scholarships and Awards Application.
  7. Please note that some scholarships have an essay requirement outlined in the scholarship description.  To be considered for these scholarships, the applicant must apply for the scholarship using the Local Scholarships and Awards Application and submit the required essay to Mrs. Cynthia Costanzo in the HHS Counseling Office by the specified deadline.

Your Local Scholarships and Awards Application must be submitted online by 9:30am on Monday, March 24th, 2025.

HTEA Education Scholarship: The Haverford Township Education Association (HTEA) is proud to offer two scholarships to two QUALIFIED Haverford High School graduating seniors who plan to pursue a career in Education. All materials need to be placed in a Google Drive folder and shared with Mrs. Heil by Friday, March 28, 2025.
