Dear Haverford Middle School Family:                     

 How to Sign Up For a Conference

We are excited to be hosting our second round of  Student-Led Conferences.  A Student-Led Conference is a student-driven conference where the student is responsible for facilitating the discussion regarding their performance, progress, goals, and action plan for improvement.  Teachers will participate in the conference as well, but it is the student's responsibility to lead the conference.  Students have been preparing to lead their Student-Led Conference, and we hope that you are ready to participate as well.  Please click on this link à (SLC Information) for more information about Student-Led Conferences and expectations for staff, students, and families.

Spring Student-Led Conferences are scheduled for the following dates and times:

  • Wednesday, March 11th          12:00 – 3:20 PM
  • Thursday, March 12th              12:00 – 4:15 PM & 5:30 - 7:30 PM
  • Friday, March 13th                   12:00 – 2:00 PM CANCELED

Families will be using the web-based tool Sign Up Genius to schedule parent-teacher conferences. The Sign Up Genius link will open on Monday, February 24th, at 7:00 PM.  Please click on the attached Haverford Middle School Sign Up Genius page link at https://goo.gl/jSzcXB to schedule a conference.  Attached is the Sign Up Genius How To Guide (How to Guide) if you need help navigating the Sign Up Genius link.  To schedule a conference, you will select your child’s teaching team and schedule your conference date and time.  The Sign Up Genius link will close on Wednesday, March 4, 2020,  at 7:00 PM.

If you need assistance scheduling a Student-Led Conference, do not have access to a computer, or cannot make one of the scheduled conference days, then please contact your child’s teaching team.  The teaching team will collaborate with you to find a time to discuss your child’s performance and progress with you.                 

Students will be dismissed at 10:50 AM and will not eat lunch in school on conference days. Bus schedules will be moved up accordingly.
