    Bienvenue aux cours de français!

Learning a language is exciting! It's nothing like any other subject you have studied in school - it opens doors to experiencing new cultures and meeting new people from all around the world. To truly master French, you must listen to it, read it, even try to speak it outside of the classroom. "If you don't use it, you lose it." If you are looking to practice your French in a fun, non-intensive way, check out the Independent Learning Resources link on the left, or check out the website for the course you are taking.

To tell you a little bit about myself, I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University with a B.A. in French and a B.S.Ed. in Secondary Education. Currently, I am pursuing an M.A. in French Language and Culture from West Chester University. During the spring of 2011, I studied at the Université de Nancy II in Nancy, France and traveled to many other French cities to learn about and experience their language and culture. It is my sincere hope to make those experiences, in the culture that I love, possible for Haverford students as well.
