    Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am honored to continue serving as your child’s principal for the 2016-17 school year.  As I begin my fourth year at Chatham Park Elementary School, I want you to know that working here has truly been my pleasure! I have appreciated your feedback on our service, and I hope you will be pleased with what’s staying the same and what will be changing at Chatham Park School.

As your child’s principal, I take full responsibility for leading our school and guiding all those who are engaged in providing your child with the best learning environment and growth opportunities. As a proud educator and mother myself, I know the importance of education and value my role in ensuring that your child enjoys their learning experiences in a safe and positive environment. Our dedicated staff works very hard to meet the individual needs of all students, and maintain personal connections with their families.

I invite you to become an active participant in our school community through volunteering and/or joining our Home and School Association (HASA), or attending and supporting school events. Research clearly supports that when parents/guardians participate and are involved in their child’s education, there is a greater likelihood of academic success for the child.

I truly believe that communication is the key to a successful educational experience. Together, we will continue to improve the quality of our school community and provide the best for the children of Chatham Park School. Education is a partnership between the school, students, parents/guardians, and community. All children are more successful when we work as a team to achieve educational goals.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
