    What is American Education Week?

American Education Week—November 14-18, 2016—presents all Americans with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate public education and honor individuals who are making a difference in ensuring that every child receives a quality education. The weeklong celebration features a special observance each day of the week. Read more about the history of American Education week here.

    Dear Parents:

This year, Haverford Township School District’s observance of American Education Week is November 14-18. In order to share the outstanding educational program that is going on at the high school, we would like to invite parents and guardians in for a visit during that week, on Thursday, November 17. You are welcome to visit for as long as you would like.  You may elect to visit for a partial block or for more than 1 block.

In order to make accommodations, I would like to notify teachers as soon as possible of the parents who will be visiting. Review your child’s schedule, and decide when you would like to visit. Please complete this form by November 16 so we can notify teachers of your intended visit. Thank you.
