Kindergarten & 1st Grade Procedures

For the safety of kindergarten and first-grade students, a parent, guardian, or older sibling must be present at the bus stop to receive them. If no one is there to receive the student, the bus driver will not allow them to exit the bus. The Transportation office will attempt to contact the parent or guardian by phone. If the parent or guardian cannot be reached, the bus will continue its run and return to the student's stop after completing all remaining stops.

Students in second grade and older can exit the bus without a parent/guardian at the stop.
