PowerSchool is an application that houses all our student information. The application stores information and collects data from demographics, testing, grades, and attendance to support our students, administrators, teachers, parents and students.
Select the Create Account tab along the top of the login window
Select Create Account
In the top portion of the form you will enter your own information, including your desired user name and password. Your username must be 8 characters and unique in our PowerSchool system. Common names are most likely already in use.
In the sections below add your students using the unique Access ID and Access Passcode for associated with each child. The Access ID and Access Passcode are emailed to parents from the School District at the beginning of each school year. If you need a copy of your child's information please email ithelpdesk@haverfordsd.net.
Scroll to the bottom of the page to Enter the information.
Select Account Preferences on the left navigation bar
Select the Students tab along the top of the window
Select Add in the upper right of the Students window
Enter your child's name and the Access ID and Access Password you received on the District Parent Portal Letter, along with your relationship to the child.
Select OK
You should now see that student's name in the blue bar along the top of the window. Select each name to switch between each child's grades, attendance and form screens.
You will need to contact our ithelpdesk@haverfordsd.net if you have already created a parent PowerSchool account in Haverford School District but the student linked to that account has graduated or transferred to another school. A PowerSchool administrator can reactivated the orphaned account by adding a registered student to that account, giving you access again.
Students in 6th through 12th grades are able to access their grades and attendance in PowerSchool. Student users are not able to create an individualize account but will need to login with the secure username and password provided from the School District. Like all passwords, the student's login information should be kept in a secure and confidential location.
Middle School students will receive their PowerSchool username and password in a mailing to their School District Google mail address at the beginning of the school year.
High School students should refer to their student schedule for their PowerSchool login information
Students do not need to create an account.
You may log into the PowerSchool website or PowerSchool mobile app with the user name and password you are issued.
8th through 11th grade students will use their student login to register for the following year's course selection in PowerSchool.
District Forms Can be Competed in Your Parent Account
Our families now have to capability of updating District forms within their PowerSchool parent account. This assures that our student's health records and contact information are updated as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Along with our adoption of online forms we are able to utilize PowerSchool's unlimited contacts feature. This allows our families to add all the important individuals in your child's life to accommodate our diversified families. (See the SDHT Emergency Contact Card)
Select the name of each form to complete the form. You will see a green leaf beside each completed form along with a progress bar at the top of each group of forms.
* PowerSchool is expected to release an update in mid-fall to enable forms to be completed within their PowerSchool app.
Account holders may download the PowerApp and log in with their parent or student username and password. You may download the PowerSchool app to your mobile device from the Apple App or Google Play stores.
Once you enter your username and password you will be asked to link your account to The School District of Haverford Township. The code for our School District is: DBWH
Special School Board Meeting
A special School Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 24th at 6:30 PM at the Oakmont Administration Building.
The Board will vote to move from using the 3% metric to utilizing the CDC Community Levels regarding masking recommendation.
