Payment and Agreement

Annual Chrome Device Payment

We are moving to a new online payment system that will be available soon. Parents will receive a notification when the system is active.

  • All students in grades 3-12 must pay the annual $30 technology fee or $90 per family maximum.

  • Payment should be made as soon as possible but no later than September 30th. Your student should provide the email confirming your payment (hard copy) to their homeroom teacher as proof of payment.

  • If payment cannot be made online, a personal check, made payable to The School District of Haverford Township, can be mailed to the address below, attention: Business Office. Please mark your student's name, grade level, and homeroom teacher on the check. Payment can be made as soon as possible but must be received in the Business Office by the start of the school year.

The School District of Haverford Township
Business Office - Chrome Device Technology Fee
50 East Eagle Road, Havertown, PA 19083

  • The business office will confirm payment by check to the school but your student will need to complete the online Chromebook form in PowerSchool or hand in the Chromebook Agreement & Signature page to their Homeroom teacher.

  • Those students who qualify for Free/Reduced Lunch are not required to pay the $30 Tech Fee. Your student will be marked "Paid," but the Chromebook Agreement must be signed and handed to your student's homeroom teacher.

  • Chromebooks will be distributed to 3rd-grade and new students within the first month of school. Sixth and 9th-grade students will return their Chromebooks to receive a new device.

  • Chromebooks will remain with High School students until June of their graduation year. Graduating Seniors can purchase the Chromebook for an additional fee - depending on the years you have paid the technology fee. If a student has paid the $30 fee for four years, the graduate may own the Chromebook for an additional $30 fee.
