Q: What is the registration process?
A: You will first complete the online registration which can be found on the Student Registration page. Once the online registration portion is complete, you will be contacted by a School District of Haverford Township (SDHT) representative regarding additional submission requirements to be completed online.
Q: How do I submit my registration documents?
A: Once you have completed the online portion of the registration process you will you will be contacted by a School District of Haverford Township (SDHT) representative with the next steps. This information will be submitted electronically, there are no in-person appointments at this time.
Q: When will I know the school bus details for my child?
A: For students eligible to receive school bus service (those who do not live within a walk zone), bus details will be provided to you from the Transportation department after the Registration process has been completed.
Bus passes are sent to parents/guardians mid-August for the upcoming school year.
FINDING YOUR CHILD'S BUS
Want to know where your child's bus is? The District implemented the Edulog Parent Portal, a self-service app that allows you to track your child’s assigned transportation from their school. Track in real-time your child’s bus position as well as configuring notifications to alert you when your child’s bus is nearing pickup or drop-off.
The Edulog Parent Portal is now available to parents and students. Parents/Guardians can use the app to get started today! Your student's ID number along with their date of birth is needed to register.

Q: What are the immunization requirements for the School District of Haverford Township (SDHT)?
A: Please refer to the requirements for the state of Pennsylvania on the Coordinated School Health section of our website.
Q: What is the required age for entrance to kindergarten?
A: The student must be 5 years old before September 1st of the respective school year to be admitted into kindergarten.
Q: Does the SDHT have full day kindergarten?
A: No. Kindergarten is a half day program in the SDHT. Your child will be assigned the AM or PM session by the building staff and Principal.
Q: I already have older children attending the SDHT. Do I still need to provide the registration information and proof of residency?
A: Yes. For every new student registered to attend the SDHT, a parent/guardian must complete the registration process and provide all required proofs and documents.
Q: I'm moving into the SDHT during the summer. Can we still register our child to begin in September?
A: Yes. Once you establish residency in the SDHT, complete the registration steps. Please do not begin the registration process until you have established residency in the School District of Haverford Township. Please call the Registrar with any specific questions.
Q: What is the deadline to register? Will you have a spot for my child if we register right before the start of school?
A: The School District of Haverford Township is a public school with no registration deadline and will enroll all students who reside in the SDHT boundary and meet the registration requirements.
