How do I sign up for SafeArrival?
SafeArrival is available over the web on PC or Mac at https://go.schoolmessenger.com/ or you can download the mobile app (named SchoolMessenger) from Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Signing up is easy. Just use the email address on file with your school and follow these three steps:
- Click the Sign-up Button on the top of the web page, or download the SchoolMessenger App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Market.
- Enter your email address and create a password. An email will be sent to that address with a secure token.
- After authenticating via your email, return to InfoCenter and sign in using that email and password.
The “How to Use the Web” document will walk you through reporting an absence using the website at http://go.schoolmessenger.com after you have created your account.
The “How to Use the App” document will walk you through reporting an absence in the App on your smartphone to report your student’s absence.
The use of SafeArrival is not currently required. If you would prefer to continue calling your child out absent in the morning and sending a note with your child on the day after their absence, you can continue to do that. We are hoping that using SafeArrival will make it easier for you to report your student’s absence and keep track of their attendance.
