What is the Word Masters Challenge?

The Word Masters Challenge is an analogy-solving contest completed three times a year.  The students learn the meanings of the words during language arts time. We also explore the following areas of word study:

• Identify the part of speech
• Pay attention to the prefixes and suffixes
• Find categories under which several words might be grouped
• Identify other word forms and typical references
