June 1 - 7 Summer Reading- Chestnutwold Library Flexible Learning Gr. K-5

Hey Chestnutwold Students,

Just like exercising keeps your muscles in shape, reading keeps your brain in shape! If you don't exercise regularly, you lose muscle, and if you don't read regularly, you will lose reading skills. I am challenging you to keep both your muscles and brain in shape this summer!

Spend some time this week trying to find the summer reading lists that have been posted on our school website for you. You might need an adult to help you. Then you will be ready for your summer reading fun!

Read through these directions first, and then try to follow them in order to find the summer reading list.

  1. Go to Chestnutwold’s homepage or go to the School District of Haverford Township’s homepage

  2. After you get to the homepage, follow this path to find the summer reading information.

    1. Go to the top right corner and click on “STUDENTS”

    2. Look under the letter “S” and click on “Summer Reading & Math Resources”

    3. If you have trouble following these directions, the link is here: Summer Reading & Math Resources.

If you would like to watch me show you how to find the summer reading options, click here.

Miss You!

Mrs. Dambman

What grade will you be going into this fall? I posted your grade’s summer reading list below from the link above. After you follow the directions above and try to find the link on our school’s website, you can also try this. Click on your new grade below and explore it. It will take you to the same reading pages as above -  with lots of ideas about what to read this summer! I look forward to seeing you next year!
