What's Happening at Haverford

  • 2nd grade Heart Science at Coopertown

Second grade has been learning about measurement and balancing and weighing in science. They measured their classroom and were challenged to balance a balloon between strings of two different heights. Second graders used paper clips and washers to add weight to their balloons and recorded all of the different combinations they used. It took lots of tries to get the balloons to float at just the right height. Way to go, second grade! Click on main picture for a complete picture album.
