Haverford Middle School Open House

The Haverford Township Board of School Directors 
Is pleased to announce an Open House of the newly renovated
Middle School on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at 7:00 PM
 
To be held in the Auditorium at 1701 Darby Road, Havertown, PA
A few short comments will be made by:
Board President, Denis A. Gray, Esquire,
Superintendent of Schools, William S. Keilbaugh, Ed.D., and
Middle School Principal, Carol P. Restifo
 
The Middle School Choral Group Seventh Heaven will perform, and immediately following tours of the building will be conducted. The Middle School Jazz Band will perform in the cafeteria where
light refreshments will be served.
 
 

Survey for Parents / Guardians of 5th, 8th, & 12th Grade Students

In an effort to continue to provide for the best overall school experience for students, the School District of Haverford Township is inviting parents to participate in a brief survey. The district is interested in specific feedback regarding a child’s experience at the school that he/she is currently transitioning from to either the middle school, high school or to a post-secondary experience.

 

First Annual Walk at Lunch Day

The School District of Haverford Township held their first annual Walk at Lunch Day on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Walk at Lunch Day is a national event, created by Independence Blue Cross, which encourages co-workers to join together and wear comfortable walking shoes to simply take a walk at lunch.  Continue Reading. . .

  • Please Mark Your Calendar!

    The Board as agreed to adjust the student calendar at their May 3rd meeting identifying June 15th as the last student day for grades 1 through 12 and June 14th as the last day for kindergarten. Underclass exams will be Thursday June 14 and Friday June 15.

    This information is designed to inform parents and students about concussion and traumatic brain injury.  The safety of our students is our primary concern and understanding what concussions are, learning how to identify them, following safe return to play decisions and working to prevent subsequent concussions are important goals in achieving our commitment to our students.
