Web Design

Web Communications and Design – BU01500 - one credit, one semester, open to students in ALL levels.  Open to all grades.  No prerequisite.
 
This project-based course will enable students to create high quality web sites using the industry leading Dreamweaver® software. Students will also use PhotoShop for graphics.  In addition to building web sites, students will cover related topics such as Search Engine Optimization; E-Mail marketing, managing Pay Per Click campaigns, google analytics and using social networking to drive website traffic. Web Design Haverford

Course expectations and outcomes are:

  • Students will act as project managers, art directors, content editors, and web site testing coordinators.

  • Students will use the same tools and methods used by many industry professionals.

  • Students will become proficient in project planning and production, graphic and user interface design, HTML and XHTML programming, and more.
