Fine Arts Department

Welcome to the Haverford High School Fine Arts Department! Our programs are designed to provide a well-rounded art education for the beginning art student and intensive, specialized instruction for students planning to continue their art studies in college, art school or vocational school. The Haverford High School Fine Arts Department believes that the quality of a student’s life is enriched by the development of skills and values learned in the creation and/or performance of the Fine Arts. Study of the Fine Arts encourages students to function on multiple intellectual, analytical, thoughtful, and expressive levels. Based on the study of artworks of various periods and cultures, a student develops the special knowledge, sensitivity, and skills that training in art offers.
