Ms. Smith's 4th Grade
In Miss Smith's 4th grade class, the student have been studying all about Land and Water in Science class.  They are learning all about different types of erosion and the water cycle.  In the experiments, the students have modeled the water cycle, made it rain, and created different streams on their land.  Miss Smith's class is following the steps in the scientific process to make detailed observations and conclusions.  The children are working together to complete the experiments and understand how erosion effects our land.  The fourth graders have so much fun in science. See more in the "TAKE A LOOK AT WHAT IS NEW" section of this web page.

  • Weather and the Instructional Calendar
Due to the additional weather day this week, we are revising the 2013-2014 Instructional Calendar. The Pennsylvania Department of Education has provided guidance, which will allow Haverford, as of this date, March 4, 2014, to take Wednesday, June 18, 2014, as an additional instructional day.  If other weather days are necessary we would first turn to Monday, April 21, 2014 and then to the week of April 14 (Spring Break) and add instructional days as necessary.
