  • Lawrence Cabin and Nitre Hall

Each year the 5th grade students take a field trip to Lawrence Cabin and Nitre Hall. The students are able to experience what it was like to live as a child in the early 1700's and their early 1800's. They spend their day preparing lunch, completing chores such as sawing wood, making soap and candles, and cleaning. The students learn about tools that were used during that time period to make life easier. Click to see pictures of Mrs. Barber's homeroom on their field trip.
