The Department of Health's School Immunization regulation changes are in effect at the start of the 2011-2012 school year. The Pa Department of Health recommends updating your child's vaccinations at their next doctor's appointment.
The requirements are as follows:
All grades K-12 need the following:
4 doses of tetanus 4 doses of diphtheria 3 doses of polio 2 doses of measles 2 doses of mumps 1 dose of rubella 3 doses of hepatitis B 2 doses of varicella
7th grade additional requirements: 1 dose of meningococcal conjugate (MCV) 1 dose of tetanus, diphtheria, acellular pertussis (Tdap) If 5 years have elapsed since last tetanus containing vaccine
