5th Grade Supply List

Dear New Fifth Graders and Parents,

 

We hope you are excited to begin 5th grade.  You will need these supplies on the first day of school:

 

  • several sharpened pencils & erasers  (will need to be replenished throughout year)
  • small box of crayons/colored pencils
  • glue sticks (3)
  • pencil case (soft with a zipper)
  • 2 red pens
  • small pencil sharpener (with catcher for shavings)
  • 4 post-it note pads
  • scotch tape
  • 4-pack of highlighters
  • scissors
  • 3 boxes of tissues
  • sock
  • 4-pack of dry erase marker
  • 2 containers of wipes (Lysol or other brand)
  • 6 folders with three prongs and pockets…preferably plastic (red, blue, yellow, green, purple, orange)
  • 3 subject notebook
  • 1 subject notebook
  • girls: 8 oz. Purell Hand Sanitizer with pump
  • boys: small box of sandwich size plastic bags

***Please label supplies with first and last names.***

 

In September, each teacher will tell his/her students about a few additional supplies that are unique to a particular subject or method of organization.
