  • Statement from Board of School Directors on the Retirement of Dr. Keilbaugh

    The Board of School Directors accepted the retirement of Dr. William Keilbaugh on Thursday, October 16, 2014. Dr. Keilbaugh will continue to serve as Superintendent until the end of May. In the meantime, the Board has begun the search for the next Superintendent. We will provide the community with information on a regular basis.

  • Entero D68 and Ebola Viruses

    The news media has been reporting daily on the recent Ebola Outbreak and Entero D68 Virus. While these are worrisome news reports to all of us, we take our guidance from the State Department of Health and there are NO recommendations to limit school attendance or school activities. As a school district we monitor the attendance and health of our students daily. Our maintenance staff is paying close attention to cleaning our buildings.     The School District of Haverford Township is governed by a nine-member school board. Each board member is elected to a four-year term of office and resides in the township. The board usually meets on the first and third Thursday of every month at 7:30PM in the Board Room at Oakmont. The public is invited to attend all public meetings.
