The Chromebooks are Coming!

The School District of Haverford Township is implementing a 1:World technology initiative this 2014-2015 School Year. Through this program students will receive a Chromebook for use in their years as a Ford at Haverford High School. The initiative has started with initial orientation & professional development for teachers that focuses on using technology devices to support instruction. The professional development will continue through the Fall of 2014.  The devices will be given to 10th and 11th graders in January of 2015.  The District will provide initial orientation & training for students on the topics of the Digital World and Digital Citizenship. In September 2015, 9th and 10th graders will receive their devices and receive training from the District on the Digital World and Digital Citizenship. By September 2015 each Haverford High School student will have a Chromebook. Students will pay an annual tech fee of $30 and have the opportunity to purchase their Chromebook for $30 upon graduation from HHS.

Focus on Allergies

There are many students in the building who have allergies to many different substances. Please be aware of what you are eating and what you are carrying or may be wearing. Some students are allergic to peanuts, latex, or many different types of perfume. Please be respectful of others and ensure that you are not causing any harm to other students.
