The Haverford School District Music Department announces its roster for the 20 th annual Middle School County Band Festival. This invitational honor is extended to select middle school students who are able to demonstrate excellence on instrument. This year Dr. Thomas Rudolph, Haverford Middle School Band Director and District Music Director, will be taking 17 extraordinary 7th and 8th grade student musicians to represent Haverford School District in the Delaware County Band.

This annual festival provides middle school band students with an opportunity to obtain exposure to more complex musical literature, perform in a higher level ensemble, and gain the benefit of direction from various conductors, as each of the directors from the participating schools directs the band for one selection of their choosing. The Delaware County Band is comprised of middle school musicians from the following middle schools in Delaware County: Beverly Hills, Drexel Hill, ET Richardson, Paxon Hollow, Springton Lake, Strath Haven, and Haverford.
